Connex Release 2022.1

We have released new features, improvements, and bug fixes in the application. For example, users can now disable both communication channels and workflows, as well as include both checklists and user groups when copying a project. See all news and improvements below.

Disabling channels and workflows

Project administrators can now deactivate communication channels and workflows if, for example, they are no longer needed. The feature preserves all history, and they can be easily reactivated if the need arises.

Deactivate a communication channel by going to the settings for the specific channel.

Deactivate a workflow by opening the specific workflow from the workflow overview.

Improvement of the "Copy project" function

When copying projects, you can now include checklists and the setup of user groups.

With these additions to the "Copy Project" feature, users can reuse all relevant settings and configurations from templates or previous projects when creating a new project. The following settings can be selected when copying:

 - Communication channels

 - Workflows

 - Users

 - Checklists

 - User groups

New features

  • Project administrators can now disable communication channels and workflows under the Project Administrator module. All disabled channels and workflows can be re-enabled.

  • The "Copy Project" function now also includes the ability to copy checklists and user group setup.

Improvements

  • Markers on images and drawings from the location structure are included in reports.

  • Invited users now receive a summary of all pending invitations to Connex.

  • Users are notified via email when invited to projects or accounts.

  • It is now possible to filter all columns in the overview of registrations on a checklist.

  • Users receive a notification by email when there are tasks for approval.

  • It is now possible to transfer files from Byggeweb Project via the Connex Mobile App.

Bug fixes

  • A bug that caused the timestamp for the last change in a task to be inaccurate has been fixed.

  • A bug with the filtering of workflows in the Project Administrator module has been fixed.

  • A bug where copied workflows were disabled has been fixed.
