Connex Release 2023.5
We're entering the fall with a new Connex release! In version 2023.5, we have introduced new features that will help your project management. Among other things, you can set automatic deadlines for workflows to ensure that all tasks have a deadline. And with two new administrator roles, you'll have more flexibility to delegate responsibility for assigning user rights. See all the new features here.
Set an automatic deadline on tasks
Now you can take your task management to the next level! With our latest feature, you can easily set up automatic deadlines in your workflows. This means that if a user doesn't manually select a deadline, the task will automatically be assigned a deadline with a set number of days. With this feature, you ensure that all tasks created with your workflow have a clear timeframe, increasing the chance that those responsible will follow up as planned.
You'll find the new feature when you create or edit a workflow in the administration module.
New admin roles for user groups and communication channels
Now it's even easier for you to manage user groups and communication channels. As a project manager or project owner, you can assign two new roles to users in Connex:
User group administrator
The new user group administrator role can invite and remove users from user groups they manage. You can find the new role in the user group menu in the administration module.
Group administrator
Users with the group administrator role have the ability to invite and remove users from specific groups they manage in a communication channel. They can also create subgroups within the group they manage.
With these new admin roles, we want to give you more flexibility over your administration of user groups and communication channels.

Workflows
New feature: Automatic deadline
Project managers and project owners can now set an automatic deadline for workflows. The date will be set according to the number of selected days added to the task.
All tasks created with a workflow that has an automatically set deadline will have this deadline set.
Users can still manually change this deadline.
Communication channels
New feature: Group administrator for communication channels.
Project administrators and project owners can now assign users the "Group administrator" role.
Group administrators can invite and remove users to the group they manage.
Group administrators can create subgroups for the group they manage.
User groups
New feature: User group administrator
Project managers and project owners can now assign users the role "User group administrator"
User group administrators can invite and remove users to the user group they manage.
Company account
An issue where the contract number field was marked as mandatory when upgrading a project subscription has been fixed.
An issue where the text "none" was missing if the contract number was not filled in has been fixed.
Tasks
An issue where task information was not updated correctly after switching to a related task has been fixed.
Mobile
An issue where the "back" button was not displayed as it was white on a white background has been fixed.
An issue where the "Send comment" button was not visible if there were two or more files attached to the comment has been fixed.
