Connex Release 2021.8
We’ve launched 3 new features, many users will benefit from. Administration of projects is now gathered in one place, user rights has been simplified and can easily be managed by project administrators, and the BIM module now also includes the option to gather models in a federated model. Administration and setup
All administration and settings are now gathered in the module “Project Administrator”, so it’s easier to manage the setup of projects in Connex.
The module has also been redesigned.

Introduction of user groups
When managing user rights, we have introduced “User groups”, so it’s faster for projects administrators to add users and assign access. Users are gathered in user groups and the groups are assigned to communication channels and checklists.
Federate models
You can now gather different models in a federated model directly in Connex - eg Revit, IFC.
Among other things, make collision review more accessible to all users of the construction project. Easy and simple.

New features
Upgrade to BIM Pro features in Connex in the module “Project administrator”. The upgrade contains, among other things:
Unlimited upload of 3D models
Federate models
Generate 2D plans automatically for more than one location
Owners of an account can now manage the access to multiple projects associated with their accounts
Improvements
The module “Project administrator” has been redesigned, and all administration of Connex projects has been gathered here. This applies to. among other things; administration and setup of communication channels, user rights, locations, workflows and checklists.
Project administrators can now faster and easier add access to channels checklister to a user group in the menu “Users” in the module “Project administrator”
Transfer files from version sets in an RIB Project to Connex Projects.
Add a checkbox with the assessment colors red, yellow and green in checklists.
Error fixes
An issue with viewing .skp, .ptx and .pts in the BIM viewer has been fixed.
An issue with viewing the room numbers on autogenerated 2D plans has been fixed.
